Each member is a potential spokesperson for action in our community, attending Legislative hearings locally and in Salem, for instance, participating in efforts to increase school funding.

You are encouraged to bring your interests and concerns to the League. Many of us volunteer in several areas, including health care, environmental concerns, local government activities and decision making, education, public libraries, needs of the elderly...our envolvements and commitments are extensive.

Members are encouraged to bring to the League issues and concerns for discussion and understanding. We can learn so much from one another, and working together we can find solutions.

You are invited to assist in Voter Service Activities

Taking part in developing and researching the studies; organizing educational and voters service activities for members and the public; registering voters; and assisting with Mock Elections to educate the next generation of voters.

You may also assist in Action Activities

Monitoring local and legislative issues vital to our communities, utilizing our positions to advocate for those issues.
