The Leagued of Women Voters of Lincoln County (LWVLC) is fully committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in both principle and in practice. These values are central to our goal of engaging ALL individuals, communities, and policy makers to participate in governing. There shall be no barriers to full participation in the League on the basis of gender, gender identity, ethnicity, race, native or indigenous origin, age, generation, sexual orientation, culture, religion, belief system, marital or parental status, socioeconomic status, language, accent or ability, mental health, educational level, background, geography, nationality, work experience, physical appearance, political perspective or affiliation, and/or any other identifiable characteristics. The systems of bias, discrimination, or oppression on any such basis must be dismantled if we are ever to become the nation we pledge to be: indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
