By Ruth Kistler

The Housing Committee will focus on the housing supply in Lincoln County, especially the supply of affordable and workforce housing. We will be contacting those responsible for planning in our city and tribal governments, asking what is planned or underway. At the LWVLC March membership meeting, we will share the portion of the presentation “Where We Call Home: Strategic Plan for Lincoln County Homelessness Advisory Board” that deals with housing supply and demand. We will also report feedback from local government entities. Governor Kotek is asking the legislature for $500 million for housing production this year. Local government entities may be seeking some of those funds.
