LWV 100th Anniversary Quilt Challenge! by Patti Littlehales

Updated: Oct 11, 2020

The Oregon Coastal Quilters Guild took up the challenge to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment, women’s suffrage and the League of Women Voters. While the original “Quilt Challenge--Women’s Vote” was to be shared at the annual quilt show held in August, the advent of COVID-19 cancelled the August show. However, the presentation went virtual on their website. Sixteen members created original and vivid portrayals of the history. You can find the entries on the Oregon Coastal Quilters Guild website, https://oregoncoastalquilters.org/activities/
