Virtual Candidate Forum

Public Notice: Virtual Candidate Forum

The Lincoln County League of Women Voters invites you to a Virtual Candidate Forum on April 28, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

All 12 candidates running for the three seats on the Board of Commissioners (May 19th Primary) have been invited. This event is produced with the technical support of Oregon Coast Community College (OCCC). While the forum will originate from OCCC’s North Campus, the public is welcome to attend in-person viewing rooms at both the North Campus and the Central Campus in Newport.

Moderator Jean Cowan will lead the discussion with three League-prepared questions for each candidate. If time permits, we will take questions from the audience (collected via viewing room monitors and the virtual chat).

How to Join:

  • In-Person: Join us at the OCCC North or Central Campus viewing rooms.

  • Online: Join via Zoom

The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan organization and does not support or oppose any political party or candidate.
