All voices are equal at the ballot box, and we all want to be sure our voices are heard. VOTE411.org is the League of Women Voters’ website where you can find all the information you need to cast your ballot. It’s virtual, nonpartisan, and available in both English and Spanish. Even for those of us who’ve voted before, the process can be confusing. VOTE411 gives you personalized information for your ballot. Our local Voter Service committee will assist in gathering this information for Lincoln County candidates.
Three questions are prepared for each candidate on the ballot. Immediately after the questions are sent to the candidates, we will monitor 411 for their responses and reach out personally to encourage their timely participation, while explaining how 411 differs from the Voter’s Pamphlet provided by your local election office. If a candidate, after two reminders, does not submit answers, they will be listed with the note “Candidate chose not to respond.”
On VOTE411 you will find candidate and ballot information:
• Customized to your address—see the candidates and ballot issues on your personal ballot.
• Gives detailed information on the candidates, including questions and responses, in their own words!
• Allows you to compare candidates side by side before making your selections.
• Tells about debates and forums in your area
Millions have found nonpartisan voting resources on VOTE411, including thousands of Spanish-speaking citizens. Go to VOTE411.org and see for yourself!
